Julie Shrader is the Founder and CEO of Innocence Freed, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking and restoring hope and freedom to survivors. With over 13 years of hands-on experience, Julie is recognized as a leading expert in the field.

As a survivor herself, Julie has a deep, personal understanding of the trauma, challenges, and resilience required to heal and rebuild. Her work has helped countless survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation reclaim their lives.

Julie is also a highly sought-after speaker and trainer, having spent the past 13 years educating and equipping businesses, churches, hospitals, hotels, motels, medical professionals, youth, and parents to recognize and respond to trafficking. Her confidence on stage and expertise in consulting other programs and recovery homes make her a trusted voice in the fight against exploitation.

Notably, Julie established Nebraska’s first restoration home for trafficked women and a dedicated children’s ranch with equine therapy, providing vital, trauma-informed care until March 2024. Her expertise in trauma-informed programming ensures that Innocence Freed continues to provide comprehensive support, healing, and resources for survivors, with a renewed focus on restoration housing for girls and women once again.
