Julie Shrader

Julie Shrader is a survivor, speaker, and 13-year leader and expert in the fight against human trafficking and sexual exploitation. She is the Founder and CEO of Innocence Freed, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter, healing, and hope for survivors.

For 12 years, Julie led Rejuvenating Women, where she established Nebraska’s first short- and long-term faith-based recovery home for trafficked adult women. She later expanded the mission by securing a 10-acre ranch for exploited teen girls, creating a safe and therapeutic environment that incorporated on-site animal and equine-assisted therapy.

Julie is a nationally sought-after speaker and trainer, recognized for her transparent, heartfelt storytelling and deep expertise in trauma-informed care. She has equipped and inspired audiences nationwide—including mental health professionals, educators, parents, conference attendees, hospitals, schools, colleges, nonprofit leaders, churches, and government agencies.

A survivor herself, Julie knows that God called her into this mission to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and a source of hope for the brokenhearted. Grounded in unwavering faith, her life’s purpose is to restore healing, dignity, and lasting freedom to those silenced by exploitation and trauma.

Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. ~ Psalm 82:4
