Restored Wings Brand Returns under Innocence Freed

We are thrilled to announce that Innocence Freed has officially secured the rights to the name Restored Wings.

For our founder, Julie Shrader, this is especially meaningful. Over a decade ago, when she opened her very first housing program for survivors of trafficking, she named it Restored Wings. That name reflected her heart and her vision—to create a place where women could heal, rebuild their lives, and find the freedom to soar once again.

Now, after many years of serving survivors and building programs of hope and restoration, Julie is grateful to once again carry forward the name Restored Wings. It represents both the history of what has been built and the future of what is still to come.

As we continue to grow, we are preparing for the next chapter: establishing recovery homes for both adults and youth. This home will provide a safe and nurturing environment where survivors can experience stability, therapeutic support, and dignity as they begin their journey to restoration.

We also want to clarify that Julie Shrader originally founded and led Rejuvenating Women, which became Restored Wings to encompass minors. If you search online for “Restored Wings,” you may still encounter outdated articles, an old website, or information from an organization not affiliated with Innocence Freed. These references do not represent the current Restored Wings brand. The name Restored Wings is owned exclusively by Innocence Freed, and all future use of the name will reflect our mission, our programs, and our commitment to survivors.

This moment is more than reclaiming a name; it is reclaiming a mission, a calling, a God-given purpose, and a promise. Survivors deserve a place where their wings can truly be restored, and their futures can take flight.

Blessings to you,

Julie A. Shrader, Founder and CEO
