Sharing Hope and Awareness on Spirit Catholic Radio

On August 11, 2025, I had the privilege of joining Spirit Catholic Radio for a live interview (listen at 1:43–1:46). It was a wonderful opportunity to bring awareness to the reality of human trafficking here in Omaha and to share the important work we are doing through Innocence Freed.

Talking About Human Trafficking in Omaha

Human trafficking is often seen as a faraway problem, but it happens right here in our own communities. During the interview, I discussed the urgent need to shine light on this hidden crime and to provide education so families, churches, and community members can better recognize the signs and protect the vulnerable.

Bi-Monthly Speaker Sessions

One of the ways Innocence Freed helps build awareness is through our bi-monthly “Truth Uncovered” speaker sessions, which are free and open to the public. These evenings bring together experts, survivors, and community leaders to educate, answer questions, and offer resources. We invite anyone in Omaha and the surrounding areas to attend, learn, and be part of the solution.

What Innocence Freed Does

At Innocence Freed, our mission is to restore dignity, healing, and freedom to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. We offer aftercare programs, support groups, counseling, court advocacy, and equine-assisted learning. Every service is designed to meet survivors where they are and walk alongside them in their healing journey.

A New Beginning Gala – October 2, 2025

I also shared about our upcoming A New Beginning Gala: Let There Be Light” on October 2nd at The Astro Theater in La Vista. This powerful evening will feature music, survivor stories, and a call to action for our community to help bring light into the darkness. Tickets and sponsorships are available now, and we’d love for you to join us.

✨ Thank you to Spirit Catholic Radio for allowing me to share our mission and spread hope across the airwaves. Together, we can break the silence, educate our communities, and bring freedom to survivors.
